Yulara and surrounds - July 21- Day 15 on track.

STATS:
Distance Travelled: Ska = 0kms (waiting for the courier to deliver shocks) Travelled with Dad today.

We spent the day sightseeing around Yulara and the Rock. Actually we were like tourists on steroids, looking at shops, coffee, Rock, tours, photos etc etc.

I was also "hanging" out for the delivery of the replacement rear shocks....sweating on them arriving before we had to leave.

We crossed the Chamberlain tractor group at Warburton, but my camera was out of action. Here they are again a Yulara.

Milani went for a camel ride....amonst the Desert Oaks with Uluru in the background

The shocks arrived...finally and then began the job of installation here is the "good shock" being removed. THis occured later in the day - but I can't delete or move the photo for some reason.
The camel's name was Rod, the cameleer was Damon - one very laid back and helpful Dude.
Rod giving Milani a goodbye look.
Uluru
and again.
Dad at the Rock
The Climbing chain...the Rock was closed due to weather the 3 days we were there, so we didn't need to decide whether to climb or not. Pretty amazingly steep looking climb.
To climb or not to climb.
Milani and Edna (the Echidna) on the walk at the Rock.
the various cracks, crevasses, holes, colors, textures were captivating, each step revealed something different.
