Our Riverside campsite.
Here comes the sun...finally.
Here we are surrounded by signs, just near the WA/NT border.
Interesting approach to bushfire prevention.
My first venture in Northern Territory.
Yep we are heading for Uluru.
Some more peas - purple this time.
Pink and purple really.
Yep - beware of animals...
and there is a camel - just to prove the point.
Camel among the Desert Oaks
It is unbelievable that the early explorers and settlers survived to tell any tales at all. The distances are amazing and the country harsh and unwelcoming.
Sarah in Lassiter's Cave.
Interesting tree bark
Tjunti - Lasseter's Cave - Meg and Sarah.
Steve found another rattle - here come the boys to the rescue.
Think it's a honey grevillea.
its flower
and the macro shot.
Dunno what this is, but I picked it.
The Olgas in the distance - bit exciting to see them at last. Now for the Rock - hope it is not disappointing.
Pretty unreal how the trees etc grow up there.
Kata Tjuta/Olgas.
I was surprised at the amount of stuff growing on the rock.
Getting a good shot....
A little bird at our lunchspot.
There a quite big bushes/trees growing up there.
Nice plant at the Olgas
and it blue flower.
Having a rest on the walk at Olgas.
